(posted August 28th, 2026)

We’re still coming down from the excitement of our “double” season this year in Delaware - we loved sharing the artistry of Trio Barclay with audiences in July, and Kristin Renee Young and Pam Pecko Smith in August. Thanks from our founders, Sheridan and Ya-Jhu, and all our wonderful musicians: Sean, Dennis, Jonah, Eric, Kristin, and Pam. Thanks also to our extraordinary hosts: Avenue United Methodist, Epworth United Methodist, St. Martha’s Episcopal, and for the first time this year, St. Peter’s Episcopal in Lewes! We’ll update this page when we have news or next summer’s dates (typically we do at least a week in mid-August). Can’t wait to share more music with you. It’s not too late to make a donation to help us finish our 2026 season strong - you can do so here: support Celtic to Classical.

2026 Featured Artists

Trio Barclay consists of Sean Kennard (piano), Dennis Kim (violin), and Jonah Kim (cello). Founded in 2021, the group is the outgrowth of years of collaboration between its members, including at Celtic to Classical from 2016-2018! Bringing all three musicians back this summer is a “full circle” kind of feeling for us - we were so glad to be able to share their artistry with you.

Kristin Renee Young (soprano), Pam Pecko Smith (flute), Ya-Jhu Yang (piano), and Sheridan Seyfried (violin) will offer a varied program of classics, vocal works, original music, and Celtic fiddling. Kristin is a rising opera star based in Brooklyn, while Pam has an active professional career in London. They join C2C founders Ya-Jhu and Sheridan for an exciting program in August!

About Celtic to Classical

Celtic to Classical presents mixed-genre live concerts in Southern Delaware. Movements of classical masterworks are presented alongside other styles, such as Celtic, bluegrass, New Age, or folk. Listeners will often hear arrangements and compositions by the producers of the series, Sheridan Seyfried and Ya-Jhu Yang, who perform on piano, violin, and flute, alongside guest musicians.

Concerts last a little more than one hour. A free-will offering is accepted in lieu of ticketed admission. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Please send us a message to ensure we have your email address, so you won’t miss out on announcements in the future. To make a donation to Celtic to Classical, click here.

Learn more about our background:

In 2016, Sheridan Seyfried and Ya-Jhu Yang began producing the Celtic to Classical concert series in southern Delaware. Seyfried has ties to the area—his father Steve has produced the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre there since 1982. Seyfried himself previously produced the Lewes Chamber Music Festival from 2002-2007. Celtic to Classical strives to create memorable and unique concert experiences, presenting music of different styles side-by-side.

Frequently appearing on the series over the years has been world-class cellist Jonah Kim. Other guest performers have included violist Jessica Chang, pianist Sean Kennard, violinist Dennis Kim, violinist Alexis Meschter, violinist Moni Simeonov, flutist Pam Pecko Smith, soprano Anne Marie Stanley, and soprano Kristin Renee Young.

Soprano Kristin Young joins Sheridan Seyfried and Ya-Jhu Yang for a program at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill, PA (2024).

Sheridan Seyfried, Jonah Kim, and Ya-Jhu Yang perform this piece by Bela Fleck, adapting solos from Stuart Duncan and Jerry Douglas.

Cellist Jonah Kim performs composer Sheridan Seyfried’s “Serenade” for cello and piano.
