Celtic to Classical announces its 2026 summer dates in southern Delaware!

This summer, we're excited to offer two different concert programs to audiences. In late July, we'll have Trio Barclay (featuring fan favorite cellist Jonah Kim) and in August, flutist Pam Smith and soprano Kristin Young join founders Ya-Jhu Yang (piano) and Sheridan Seyfried (violin). All performances are at 7 PM.

2026’s Featured Artists

Trio Barclay consists of Celtic to Classical alums Jonah Kim (cello), Sean Kennard (piano), and Dennis Kim (violin). Founded in Orange County in 2021, the group is the outgrowth of many years of collaboration between its members, including at Celtic to Classical in 2016 and 2018! Bringing all three trio members back to Southern DE makes for a “full circle” kind of feeling for us, and we can’t wait to share their top-level artistry with you in late July.

Pam Pecko Smith (flute), Kristin Renee Young (soprano), Ya-Jhu Yang (piano), and Sheridan Seyfried (violin) will offer a varied program of classics, vocal works, original music, and Celtic fiddling. Pam has an active professional career in London, while Kristin is a rising opera star based in Brooklyn. C2C founders Ya-Jhu and Sheridan are familiar faces and, as trained composers, bring their original arrangements and compositions to the table.

About Celtic to Classical

Celtic to Classical presents mixed-genre live concerts in Southern Delaware. Movements of classical masterworks are presented alongside other styles, such as Celtic, bluegrass, New Age, or folk. Listeners will often hear arrangements and compositions by the producers of the series, Sheridan Seyfried and Ya-Jhu Yang, who perform on piano, violin, and flute, alongside guest musicians.

Concerts last a little more than one hour. A free-will offering is accepted in lieu of ticketed admission. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Celtic to Classical and Southern Delaware

this year’s concert schedule in Southern Delaware can be seen here

In 2016, Sheridan Seyfried and Ya-Jhu Yang began producing the Celtic to Classical concert series in Southern Delaware. Seyfried has ties to the area—his father Steve has produced the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre there since 1982. Seyfried himself previously produced the Lewes Chamber Music Festival from 2002-2007. Celtic to Classical strives to create memorable and unique concert experiences, presenting music of different styles side-by-side.

Frequently appearing on the series over the years has been world-class cellist Jonah Kim. Other guest performers have included violist Jessica Chang, pianist Sean Kennard, violinist Dennis Kim, violinist Alexis Meschter, violinist Moni Simeonov, flutist Pam Pecko Smith, soprano Anne Marie Stanley, and soprano Kristin Renee Young.
